Don't forget : When you run across those library books in your locker or under your bed, bring them to Mrs. Green's room and drop them off in the box by the door. Someone from the library will stop by and pick them up each day. ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE THURSDAY.

All 8th grade girls interested in playing soccer next fall in high school should attend a call out meeting on THURSDAY during homeroom (11:20) in Mrs. Lear's room.

TODAY IS THE DEADLINE TO GET YOUR HOLIDAY WORLD PERMISSION SLIPS IN--- NO LATE SLIPS WILL BE ACCEPTED. THE COST IS $21.00.

Cafeteria announcement: Charging lunches will no longer be allowed and you need to pay off any charges you have. Please do NOT get a tray if you do not have money or if you owe. Remember that your lunch account carries over into next year.

8th grade students who ate participating in the talent show will be practicing during homeroom TODAY in the auditorium. 7th grade participants will be practicing on Wednesday, May 15. If you are singing a song and need music, stop by and see Mrs. Green today.

The cancer fund raising event Relay for Life is coming in June. Cancer Chocolate Lollipops will be sold at lunch for one dollar each to benefit this cause.

Spring play practice will be held from 3:10 to 5:00 for the cast today. Meet in the auditorium lobby after school. The Cabaret Singers will rehearse until 5:30.

The CCJHS spring play will be on Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, this week, at 7:30 PM in the auditorium. The junior high play is Anchors Aweigh!, about a fledgling cruise ship called the S.S. Flounder. It is a comedy that will bring lots of laughs!!! The junior high Cabaret Singers will present a pre-show medley of songs called Cruisin' Down the River. Mrs. Hight's high school thespians will present a mystery play called The Babysitter. Tickets for students K-12 are $4.00. You may buy them at school Wednesday through Friday or at the door. Come and see your fellow classmates on stage and enjoy a night of entertainment.

Students going to Washington DC next year : If you are going to do fundraising activities, you need to get your contract in NOW, or you will not get credit.

On the last day of school, we will hand out yearbooks and have a yearbook signing. They cost $26.00 and there are only a couple left.

NO discipline issues or ICU issues can get you into the last day activities. We have a talent show, a slide show, yearbook signing, and more. So make sure you are a part of the fun........ or you could be with Mr. Ragland!!!

Free sports physicals from the Harrison County Hospital will be May 21st. Appointments are required. Pick up information on when to call in the office.
